Returns Administrator (Part-Time)

We’re looking for a Returns Administrator to join our Operations team in Basingstoke on a part-time basis. In this role, you will be vital in ensuring that all hardware warranty returns for our Smart Metering contracts are processed efficiently, tracked accurately, and meet our contractual obligations.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Manage and track returned items through the entire RMA (Return Material Authorisation) lifecycle—from receipt, diagnosis, and repair to return to the customer.

  • Analyse both current and historic RMA data to identify root causes and trends.

  • Highlight opportunities for proactive maintenance of devices to reduce future returns.

  • Prepare and present reports on past activity and future projections to management.

  • Coordinate RMA activities with internal teams and external stakeholders.

  • Support spares audits with the Inventory Manager as needed.

  • Identify and recommend process improvements within the RMA function.

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders across the business.
