We are seeking a dynamic, strategic, and results-oriented Senior Director of Marketing to lead marketing efforts for our Measurement & Analysis segment. In this role, you will develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that drives brand awareness, supports revenue growth, and strengthens our market leadership for our Laboratories, Real Time Air, Stack, LDAR and OGI businesses. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in B2B marketing, cross-functional leadership, and a passion for translating complex technical offerings into compelling narratives and brand experiences.

Our preference is for this role to be based in metro Denver, CO; Raleigh-Durham, NC; Dallas, TX; Irvine, CA; or Houston, TX, but we are open to remote applicants for this position.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

Reporting to the SVP of Marketing & Communications, this individual will develop and lead strategic marketing communication initiatives that address both the strategic, operational and market needs of the Measurement & Analysis Segment. The primary duties will include:

  • Develop and execute a robust marketing strategy aligned with business segment priorities and broader enterprise goals.

  • Oversee the development of thought leadership, data-driven content connected to segment value proposition and clear call to actions and robust case studies, that position the business as an innovative, trusted partner. Tailor messaging to key sectors, buyer personas, and industry trends to drive market pull rather than push.

  • Serve as a strategic partner on the segment leadership team, working cross-functionally with sales, operations, and corporate marketing & communications. Influence business strategy by bringing market insights, client needs, and growth opportunities to the table.

  • Lead, scale, and mentor a high-performing marketing team across best-in-class content, demand generation, brand, digital, and events.

  • Amplify the brand’s positioning and go-to-market messaging, balancing education, technical accuracy, and client value.

  • Partner closely with Corporate Communications to ensure consistent storytelling across internal and external channels, contributing to a strong brand culture and reputation.

  • Own the marketing pipeline and lead omni-channel content campaigns that drive measurable ROI, grow brand awareness, and support the sales cycle. Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience a plus.

  • Align closely with sales on lead generation strategies and territory goals; expertise in Account-Based Marketing (ABM) is a plus.

  • Monitor industry trends, client needs, and competitive activity to inform marketing strategy. Use data and analytics to evaluate campaign effectiveness, optimize performance, and support decision-making.

  • Develop and manage the marketing budget in partnership with business leadership, ensuring accurate forecasting and cost-effectiveness.

  • Define and track KPIs to measure marketing performance, campaign impact, and business outcomes.

  • Oversee project timelines and deliverables, ensuring on-time, on-budget execution.

  • Stay ahead of marketing trends and emerging technologies (including AI) to integrate fresh ideas into content and campaigns. Knowledge/expertise in Asana or similar project management and MarTech tools/platforms.

  • Continuously evaluate and refine creative approaches to maintain brand consistency and deliver high-quality, high-impact work.

YOUR EXPERTISE AND SKILLS

  • 10+ years in senior marketing leadership, including team management and strategic oversight.

  • Background in Environmental, Scientific, Architecture & Engineering (A&E) consulting sectors and or B2B strongly desired.

  • Proven success leading a marketing line of business or segment representative of $500M+ in annual revenue, with a track record of developing talent and building succession.

  • Recognized as a leader who embraces innovation and applies modern marketing best practices to drive measurable outcomes.

  • Strong business acumen and insight into market dynamics, buyer behavior, and brand positioning across diverse audiences.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly articulate ideas and collaborate across teams, clients, and stakeholders.

  • Adaptable, resilient, and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

  • Highly organized with exceptional time management and prioritization skills; able to manage multiple initiatives while aligning with stakeholder expectations.

  • Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally (15-25%) as needed.

  • Must be dynamic and enthusiastic, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to deliver excellence.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, English, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
