We’re Hiring for a Senior Tax Analyst!

THE ROLE: The Senior Tax Analyst will support the tax department by assisting in the preparation and review of all US tax calculations and with all activities relating to the US tax compliance and provision functions.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

• Assist with quarterly ASC740 provision calculations for multiple foreign entities and support global consolidated provision and financial reporting to include calculations of RTPs, booking journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and executing SOX controls.
• Support manager with GILTI, FDII, Subpart F, FTC, and Pillar 2 calculations.
• Assist with International tax compliance.
• Work with and support tax planning team with international tax planning projects, including financings, restructurings, liquidations, acquisitions, and repatriations.
• Collaborate with business units and various corporate departments to gather information.
• Keeping abreast of law changes relevant to Xylem on a quarterly basis (tax rate changes and other rule changes that impact the Xylem tax profile).
• Help identify improvements that streamline processes and assist in the implementation of tax technology initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting required. J.D, MS in Taxation or working towards a degree is preferred. CPA certification is desirable.
• Minimum of three years of tax experience in federal income taxation with emphasis on U.S. tax law as applied to corporations and with the application of U.S. tax law to foreign operations of U.S. multinationals preferred.
• Strong Excel skills and knowledge of OneSource preferred.
