Service Operations Inventory Planner

Position Summary
The service operations inventory planner is responsible for analyzing inventory usage at services warehouse sites to determine appropriate stocking levels. In addition, it is also part of the work to evaluate and implement the most efficient methods of transferring inventory.
Core Duties and Responsibilities
- Analyze inventory usage at service warehouse sites to determine appropriate stocking levels and to forecast usage demand across the fleet.
- Evaluate and implement the most efficient methods of transferring inventory across a substantial fleet of customer warehouses.
- Manage the service inventory process from start to finish to ensure efficiency within the services supply chain.
- Partner with the aftermarket support team to manage the requirements of new product releases and component improvements.
- Work closely with the supply chain to ensure service materials are consistently on-hand meeting quality specifications.
- Facilitate new product release and ensure the related configuration to the ERP system before beginning production efforts.
- Identify, prepare, submit, and oversee Avante (ERP system) change requests.
- Introduce process improvement initiatives to the inventory management system and other related business processes which help to drive efficiencies, reduce operating costs, and increase inventory accuracy.
- Work with cross-functional partners to support a remanufacturing process that allows a well-organized pipeline of qualified remanufactured parts to the service business.
- Assist the service team members in non-routine investigations of inventory issues to identify root causes and implement appropriate corrective actions.
QHSE related tasks & responsibilities
- Taking training courses.
- Using appropriate personal HSE measures (e.g. Personal Protective Equipmentβs).
- Cooperating on quality, health, safety, environment and security improvements.
- Reporting incidents potential danger, accidents, near misses, damage, fire, spills.
- Act according the Company Policy and Code of Conduct.
- Follow Project and Company Q and HSE procedures/work instructions and Policies.
- Reporting and preventing deviations, Non Conformance and complaints.
Authorities with regards to HSE
- In case of an acute safety threat, you are required to cease the work activities, notify your manager directly and follow up all necessary actions
Education & Experience
- Vocational education degree, or relevant work experience.
- VCA/ VOL certificate or willing to get the VCA/ VOL certificate.
- Speak English at a professional level.
- Excellent communication and social skills.
- Ability to work with a fork-lift truck
- The educational requirements may not be applicable if the applicant has acquired an equivalent level through experience.
