Xylem is looking for a Service Technician at our Albany, New Zealand Location.

The role:

  • Conduct scheduled and emergency service work, strip, overhaul, repair, test and inspect UV and Ozone systems and products, consistent with Standards and established procedures to meet customers’ requirements
  • Confined space entry to retrieve pumps were required.
  • Inspect and test products prior to dispatch to customers.
  • Heck stock, unload deliveries and check equipment received.
  • Provide training to customers on new systems.
  • Maintain all relevant documentation and reports for work undertaken, consistent with company policies and quality assurance procedures and for maintaining the workshop/vehicle so that it conforms to all necessary ESH requirements.

About you:

  • Prior experience as a Service Technician/ Fitter working on Pumps or an engineering environment.
  • Drivers/ Forklift/ Crane license (Highly desirable)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to successfully communicate with customers.
  • Result driven, while fostering a High-Quality Assurance and Environmental and Safety Program.
  • New Zealand EST license. Motor winder or mechanical experience
