Enbridge is looking for a Sr Advisor to plan, execute, and govern community investments (sponsorships and donations) and the employee volunteering and giving program at both the regional and utility level and manage associated budgets. What you will do:
Fueling Futures:
Delivery of the Enbridge Fueling Futures Program for sponsorships, donations and employee volunteering and giving for the assigned US gas utilities and Wexpro.
Duties include developing and managing relationships with key charitable and non-profit partners, reviewing and implementation of grants, setting performance objectives for the utility that support enterprise goals, leveraging investments internally and externally, and reporting.
Proactive management of sponsorship opportunities and related marketing opportunities, including negotiation and execution of sponsorships benefits and agreements.
Ongoing management of community partnerships and logistics required for successful activation.
With the support of communications, lead the identification and implementation of opportunities to leverage corporate citizenship activities for employee engagement to energize employees as ambassadors and community champions.
In collaboration with the communications team, ensure the Enbridge Gas brand is appropriately represented in collateral used in support of community partnerships and sponsorships.
Ensure appropriate Enbridge Gas Utah, Wyoming, Idaho, and Wexpro representation at events, including senior level participation where appropriate.
Planning and Management Systems:
Contribute to the ongoing evolution and management of the corporate citizenship framework.
Implement processes and governance for consistent decision making, documentation, activation, evaluation, and reporting in alignment with the corporate framework and in accordance with the gas utilityβs customer-facing program.
Entry and management of investment data into relevant reporting software and financial management systems to ensure appropriate procedures and controls for grant processing and reporting.
Participation in sustainability reporting, data management and reporting activities.
Timely assessment and response to funding and volunteer requests.
Management of regional corporate citizenship annual planning and execution.
Support special corporate citizenship projects as assigned.
Representation:
As appropriate, act as an Enbridge Gas ambassador at internal and external events.

Knowledge:
10 or more years of progressively responsible experience with a professional corporate citizenship focus. A bachelor's degree in marketing, business, public relations, CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) or related field.
Experienced in community capacity building initiatives.
Experienced in developing and leading effective employee volunteering and giving programs.
Knowledge of and experience with using the Benevity platform is considered an asset.
Technical Skills:
Solid understanding of corporate citizenship best practices and connection to peers in other organizations to support evolving approaches and tactics.
Strong leadership and management skills, including strategic planning, financial planning, and project management.
Project management skills including the ability to develop and manage annual work plans and budgets, and coordinate with internal and external clients to deliver strategic corporate citizenship initiatives within a determined budget and timeframe.
Strong analytical skills and ability to assess and evaluate funding requests and implement strategically relevant programs.
Experience in and understanding of a large, public company with operations in multiple regions.
Strong customer/client focus with the ability to listen, identify key issues, provide strategic advice, and maintain confidentiality.
The highest standards of personal integrity when leveraging financial resources to advance the companyβs reputation are expected and required.
Solid written and verbal communication, presentation, interpersonal and organizational abilities.
Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft office and various giving/volunteering software.
Sense of urgency, with well-developed prioritization, time management and multi-tasking skills.
A high degree of flexibility to adapt to multiple and competing priorities.
Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent attention to detail.

Working Conditions:
Office Environment
Will require the ability to always work with discretion and confidentiality.
Occasional travel to other Enbridge offices and operating locations will be required (approximately 4-6 times per year)
May be requested to work overtime and weekends to attend special events outside of normal working hours.
