SUMMARY

HR Professional that can assist in full employee lifestyle responsibilities with a primary focus on managing the time and attendance practices and policies. Participation in employee and supervisor discussion on improving attendance, tracking and execution on policies.

Responsible for managing compliance in the following: company attendance policies, attendance initiatives and additional human resources tasks.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following (other duties may be assigned):

  • Partner with supervisors to ensure the attendance policy is being followed and executed in a regular & timely manner.
  • Advise & coach supervisory staff on attendance related issues and disciplinary steps in accordance with the respective Attendance Policy
  • Partner with supervisors to issue disciplinary actions
  • Knowledgeable of wage and hour compliance laws for various states.
  • Company wide management of the companies - attendance point management, creating tracking, reporting, and delivering on action planning metrics.
  • Provide training to all locations on Rest & Meal break laws and practices.
  • Data analysis regarding attendance, attendance points.
  • Prepares reports and recommends action plans to combat to tardiness, absenteeism, and turnover
  • Develop and maintain attendance KPI’s per location
  • Partner with HR managers to identify attendance related trends and develop applicable actions plans
  • Compile and retain a monthly record of absenteeism stats and metrics
  • Develop & maintain Monthly Operations Review absenteeism metrics & stats
  • Provide HR support to HR team as needed – i.e., backup support for onboarding, training, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

  • Must have a high standard of business and personal integrity and be able to always maintain professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Thorough knowledge of current federal labor laws
  • Must demonstrate acceptable written/oral communication and people skills with the ability to interact with all levels of plant operations.
  • Must be detail oriented, and results driven and able to work independently
  • Must have ability to multi-task and take direction from more than one person and be a team player
  • Flexible to working off schedules to meet with employees and supervisors that work various shifts throughout the organization.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 4 years Human Resources Experience preferred
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office Suite software including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Must be able to develop spreadsheets with mathematical formulas and graphing.
  • Previous experience with Workday, ADP, and/or Kronos is a plus
