Position Overview

The Apollo Capital Solutions (ACS) team is seeking an Analyst to work as part of the Europe Syndication Team. The successful candidate will play an active and integral role in the execution and syndication of all credit opportunities across sector and asset class, contributing to the firm’s broader syndication strategy.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Assist in further building out of credit syndication business within Apollo Capital Solutions

  • Support investment professionals and capital markets professionals to syndicate credit opportunities across both Investment Grade and Sub-Investment Grade, including developing of thoughtful distribution and sell-down strategies

  • Collaborate directly with investment professionals to determine, recommend and structure co-underwrite and co-investment opportunities

  • Relative value analysis - regularly pull trading levels and comparable company analysis for various publicly traded debt instruments

  • Support all syndication deal execution, including providing leverage to deal teams, managing due diligence questions, maintaining call notes, overseeing data room management, and liaising with legal teams

  • Maintain relationships with co-investors and syndication partners

  • Track outreach data in detailed syndication CRM for all syndication opportunities and preferences to assist with investor targeting strategies

  • Learn and develop a deep level of understanding of Apollo’s credit strategies

  • Provide timely insights into private capital markets trends, including what forces are driving the markets, types of investors, credit instruments available, etc.

  • Prepare, organize, and maintain deal-related marketing materials and analyses

Qualifications & Experience

  • At least 2-4 years of work experience in either syndication, credit capital markets roles, investment banking, private credit

  • Knowledge and experience using Bloomberg terminal (to pull comps, trading levels, pricing etc.); and other data sources

  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills

  • Understanding of financial and credit analysis, valuation, and primary fundamental research and their application in investment decisions and transaction structuring

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong focus on building relationships and contributing to business growth

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Team player with a willingness and ability to work across products or geographic lines

  • High level of motivation and strong attention to detail

  • Thrives in a rigorous, fast-paced, and collaborative team environment

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

  • Bachelor’s degree required
