Position Summary
The Vacuum Technician is responsible for the setup, installation, monitoring and maintenance of various vacuum pumps and leak detectors on cryogenic vessels to achieve high vacuum.
Core Duties and Responsibilities
Be able to setup vacuum pumps
Install vacuum pumps to cryogenic vessels
Record vacuum readings in an accurate and timely manner
Set up and use a leak detector
Be able to diagnose and identify leaks on vacuum systems
Education and Experience
Should have close attention to detail
Should know how to use vacuum reading equipment
Experience as a Vacuum Technician
Experience in using electrical or manual tools (saws, grinders, hand wrenches etc.)
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and procedures
Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (face-shield, gloves etc.)

Pay Rate:
